Identifying Decisive Socio-Political Sustainability Barriers in the Supply Chain of Banking Sector in India: Causality Analysis Using ISM and MICMAC

The banking sector often plays a crucial role in the improvement of infrastructure and economy any country. In many emerging economies, it is apparent that wide variety social political issues are related to associated supply chain sustainability financial service firms. Although such its implementation have largely been addressed existing research literature practice for years, attention towards socio-political aspects has quite limited. Thus, this study attempted explore determinants improving Through adopting fuzzy Delphi method (FDM), performing an exhaustive review, conducting semi-structured interviews with decision-makers firms, nine key barriers were first identified study. Then, influence relationships assessed by 15 experts. During assessment process, interrelationships their dependence powers among analyzed using interpretive structural modelling (ISM) approach cross-impact matrix multiplication applied classification (MICMAC) methods. results show studied barriers, “antisocial considerations”, “unstable climate”, “lack coherence” decisive affect knowledge understanding reducing these can provide practitioners, especially those limited resources, enhanced capability conduct better planning designing effective continuous programs, so as win over new consumers retain clients offering sustainable services.
